For those interested....................... big snoek are caught off Robben, on the SW side.

I suppose, :wfish Seapoint area could produce as well.

Ha ha , janee lanklaas ne! Ek moet by seg daar was ook nie veel dae wat "n go" was die laaste tyd nie, maar sy het darem al haar Tuna gevang die jaar by Kaap Punt wat n nuwe ervaring was.

Daai vis by Robben is mos jou troeteldiere Allan , bly hulle voer en hou hulle daar tot die naweek.....

I hear that the Snoek is pretty good all along there again today, any Tail with it ? I might want to take a days sick leave for tomorrow.

I was out there yesterday morning... decided to leave after the morning rush so got on the water at 8:00... towards 10 we had a few on the boat but then the action turned on with them taking as you drop the lure at about 6-10m! all on lures except for about 3 on bait... was my first time catching snoek and it was amazing!
can't wait for the next trip!
Having a snoek braai this evening!::S

Also decided to go and have a look tomorrow morning, hopefully we can catch a few on Bingo 3's first trip to sea....

Will post a photo or to if we have any success.

Leaving home at 05h45 from Brackenfell to avoid the traffic, will have some coffee and broodjies at Three Anchor Bay waiting for sunrise. Cannot wait....

Robben Island here we come !!
