Both cats was cought on popper from my kayak. The bigger of the two pulled the lipgrip on 6,5kg.Caught the one and put it in the crate for a pic later and 5 minutes later hooked the second. It was just after sunset.
Here is a pic of the kayak without the crate. Its a wilderness systems Tarpon 100.I installed a fishfinder/gps witch help a lot with finding dropoffs and structure.

Naruto. I wouldnt say its difficult but first of all its a bit tricky to get big fish away from the structure. a Big cat can drag you around for a bit until you get its head lifted. I dont put the big ones inside the kayak cockpit as it thrash around too much. a Lipgrip is a must with cats and if you bring it to the side of the yak you can grab it with the lipgrip to put in the crate or pose for for a pic.I dont use a landing net as it just take up too much space and is cumbersome to handle whith the rod in your other hand.
