LH, I am also a bit confused about this...

accroding to the regulations published in 2006, Mud prawns and Sand prawns both have a limit of 50 each... so I don't know where they're getting their info from. Maybe the regulations have been updated without being published??

i renewed my bait license in dec , i'm sure this is a mistake cos i remember them saying in one issue that the legal size for shad being 25cm.

lets hope some1 can verify for us b4 we get nailed for being over the limit.

Listen if you got your license in december and it came with the regulations and limits on it,then you have nothing to worry about.Leagaly they can do nothing to you becaus eit is there error not your's.We pay for our licenses and abide by what is printed on them.If there was a change of regulations they should have notified us in writing or phone or even publish an artical regarding the changes that took place as well furnishingus with the reasons for changing these regulations.

My opinion is you stick to what you have on paper as long as you have that they can not charge you for any wwrong doing. In saying this we need to clarify this issue either with the relavent authorities or with ESA themselves.I dont think ESA realises what impact their articals could have on us the anglers.

I've checked with MCM... the latest regulations on their website are the ones from 2006 - a copy of which, I posted onto SEALINE this morning.

50 Is the limit. Once again ESA have stuffed it up!
