I have just come from Protea Angler Nic Jone's shop in Tokai.
He is having a 3 for 2 sale. Got some really nice jigs, braid etc from him.
Well worth a look.

He only does boating, off shore jigging etc.

PM me for his details if you are keen.

Cheers
Ht

Reefman, Nic has a site but nothing to buy online and in fact it's really a swak site.
http://www.tightlinetackle.co.za but you have no idea what he has in store by looking at the site. It serves more as an address detail etc.

Cheers

I would be buying lots but the missus just bough curtains for the lounge. Do you know how much fishing stuff you can buy for the cost of those curtains. Not amused.

Bud I had it 2 years ago. Custom made blinds to match the wooden floors.
Not the thin el cheapo, oh no the solid real wood no laminates. All sorts of words come to mind. I could have bought four strokes for the cost of the bloody blinds:(.

Tkei, Nepps

Nic caught a nice copper on the jig when he was up there a few weeks ago.
Tkei, I have been invited to Xmasvale 26/27/28/09/2008. To fish a triangular challenge between Cape Boat, Gonubie Marine Club and Transkei SBC.

Any chance you around that neck of the woods around then?
Cheers
HT

I think it was a braid.
Not too long but weighty. It was that slight lumo green colour with a....
RED HEAD.

Surprise surprise....... Its crazy how effective that colour scheme is across the board of angling... trolling, jigging, soft plastics, plugs, flies.... if its got a red pip its gonna catch fish!

Glad I got a couple of thems in me bag!!!!

Thats awsome news. I am going to give it a good go when i am down in the kei again.
HT, I should be in el around then, and christmas vale not very far away. Dont think i will fish it as leave an issue at the new job. Only reason i wont be here will be cos I am at the cottage catching the last coppers of the season.
Nepps, I hope you dont have the same taste as HT and my missus's. If you do, sell the stellas to buy curtains boet.

Ja tomorrow's good.
Lets check it out. Wanted to fish Saturday, but as my main crew member is playing in Natal, I am crewless and stuck. I may fish just with Dylan, but it's risky not having an experienced crew on a very low tide hmmmn.

SITE for me please anyone?

Hell mate I cant help you there. I get it for way less than what it is marked at as my monthly bill with Tighlinetackle is a fair amount, so I get stuff at a good price.

Nics number is actually on the site address I posted, so give him a shout and chat with him, he will always negotiate.

Cheers
