100% super thread.

As you mentioned the time passes so quickly, the one moment you must help them to hold the rod and the next they grow big and out catch you.

Nice catch.

I am waiting for the day when it happens to me. It may be not too far................

Hi

Nice to see them growing up, at a stage I was frustrated with all the questions & advice he seemingly didn't took in.

Last year in Henties he kicked my but a few times, and on our last tripped together on a club comb he weight in (C&R, RASSPL Style)4 gallies, while the rest of the club only managed another 4.

Makes you feel proud:)

Consider all the time spent as a investment. That grows and produces. And now is paying out. Every outing a life lesson learned a problem solved and preparation for life.

Thanks Dad for all the hours spent and may we have many many more.

If the investment I made was to gain a lifelong fishing partner,I achieved my goal. Thanks Boeta!!!!!

Hello Uncle Pieter

Excellent Post,Stunning fish ,Good pictures..

My kids are still very young but in time I will do exactly the same.. Must be an overwhelming feeling standing next to them holding those fish you caught together..I am still lucky to have my dad around and even though we dont fish together as often as we should, the few times that we do always create life long memories.

Thanks,very inspiring...

A good catch with my dad

and a catch with my Kids - Not the biggest fish, but their excitement makes up for it.

On a fishing note - Any pointers on catching a cracker ? I have got some decent stumpy ,but always seem to be deceived by the Brushers..
