indicators on boat wont work

hi

my indicators on my boat wont work and i think it could be my car due to the off-road mud and sand and all that.But do any of you know of a d.i.y way to check it out

Make yourself a little test light. Chech if the cars indicator wires and the trailor indicator wires correspond. Use the test light to see which wires in the plug on the car, are the indicators. Take off the lenses on the trailer and follow the indicator wires back to the plug on the trailer.
