Geez bennie this Ace Glider with clears does not leave too much space to work the deck. Could get stuffy in there with 4 big boys for 5 days.
So true regarding by catch. Very little and actually quite scary considering our up coming summer. We only managed to get 2 small YF Tuna, dropper something quite big, I think it was a decent tuna and landed 1 Mako. Other than that, we turned the ocean into a froth. Cant say we didn't try. We tried a big spread, changed to 8" and even swam some 6" flashers for bit. Ilanders, Pakula. Wasnt our turn!benniejordaan wrote:

Ja sounds like the fish made lots of guys check if they took the hook covers off the hooks as plenty strikes but not staying stuck. School fees being payed, and even the "pro's' seemed to have a hard time of it this year. 86 fish for 70 boats in sa doesn't sound a lot but its pretty good in sa waters. I think the best was about 110 in the 5 days for 80 boats.
I think the lack of bye catch this year was disappointing for the boys. you not there to catch dollies, but 1 or 2 a day would help keep spirits up.
Hows the liver. I think a few boys down there were hurting.
Hey Bud,Thanks for the great report Bennie. Pity you couldn't stick a marlin but I know of a lot of guys that also had a bad turn of luck. Looks like it was a great social atmosphere and plenty of boat porn!
