Woke up this morning and was welcomed by a randsacked office!

All my Trinis GONE !
All my Saltists GONE!
Couple other reels gone too.

List is Trini40 . Trini50. Trini30a. Saltist BG40. BG50. Finnor OFC30. Penn Squall 40. Shimmy 20/40.

All loaded with braids and ready for season. FML !!!!
They checked my rods out but thought it too much of mission or ran out of time.

My 36k monster gaming rig was also designated for wealth redistribution.

If any of the local guys hit a luck in Cash Crusaders or similar establishment lemme know please.

Here a before image..

Man, oh, man, I feel for you, hope you have the luck and get some back.

I am so paranoid about my reels, that when I leave home for a long time I lock them in the vault.

Go to one of the cash converters or any of the other chain stares that sell second hand stuff and give then a list of what was stolen you might be lucky and get some back. Same thing happened to a mate of mine he got about 50% of his stuff back and caught the guy while trying to sell onto them. Worth a try you never know. Sorry for you loss

Hiya Abaddon,

Will keep my ear to the ground and also tell Adrian and Riaz at the shop.

Pop into all the other tackle shops in PE and try Big Bucks as well, a lot of 2nd hand reels end up there?

Well gents..

The news is pretty good - insurance is settling up 100% of my claim.
Will miss those sought after Trinis but sure a Tallica or two will ease my misery.

My recce of the various establishments yielded no results so new toys will have to do.

Theses guys clearly wanted more as they tried to hit me again this morning at 04.15 - same M.O. as last time, even down to the rain.

Fortunately I have done a massive upgrade on my alarm system. External perimeter sensors pick em up long before they can even get close to a door or window.

We work hard for what little we have and these ( enter many experlitives) have this mentality of entitlement. I honestly don't want to be in a situation where I get my hands on one of them..

Too many break-ins in the PE area, glad they didn't get in again.

At least you did the alarm upgrade and it worked. Good support from your insurer as well.

Good Luck
