I lost one on the Breede River in approx 1998. It was near Rooivalle and was stainless steel with a slightly bashed in bottom end from knocking oysters off the rocks. We were using is a a depth gauge while motoring in and it obviously plugged into the bottom and got ripped from my grasp.

Found one washed up in the gamtoos once..That pump is still going strong. If anyone lost one.... haha Good on you for being honest, I hope the pump finds its owner or brings you much luck if not..
