Me and my dad want to go fish somewhere in Cape Town on Wednesday (7 Feb 15).

We're not total newbies, can cast and put on our own bait ;) but never fished here before.

Any tips where to go and what to use will be greatly appreciated.

Just looking for a fun time with the old man. Will probably end up being a competition of some sort between us. :wfish

Hey dude, sad to see that you asked a question in January and not one reply yet. Let me tell you something... Never ask on this site for help on where to go fishing as there is probably only a handfull of guys that would give you accurate advice. The guys are grumpy, full of sh!t and definately dont want to see you catch a nice kabeljou or galjoen at their favourite spot. Ask locals or people you see fishing at the time and steal with the eye but if there is one thing i learned on sealine, its not to ask for fishing spots!!! Goodluck bro.

Sorry only saw the post now:

bdeklerk - jy gaan sukkel as jy nie saam met iemand gaan nie. Want baie van die spots is baie spesifiek. As die wind so lank bv dit waai moet jy soontoe gaan en dit is ook nie altyd 'n waarborg nie. My voorstel is probeer inskakel by ander ouens - vra - die meeste ouens sal nie omgee om jou te vat nie.

Double Edge sorry only saw your post now - next time PM me I till try to help.
